a) When visiting the website

When you visit our website www.hotel-ruestersiel.de, the browser used on your device automatically sends information to the server of our website. This information is temporarily stored in what is known as a log file. The following information is recorded without your intervention and stored until it is automatically deleted:

  • the date and time of access,
  • the name and URL of the accessed file,
  • the website from which access is made (referrer URL),

If you have any queries, you can contact us using the form provided on the website. A valid e-mail address is required so that we know who sent the request and can respond to it. Further information can be provided voluntarily.

Data processing for the purpose of contacting us is based on your voluntarily granted consent in accordance with Article 6(1)(1)(a) GDPR.

The personal data collected by us for the use of the contact form will be automatically deleted after your enquiry has been dealt with.

  • this is legally permissible and required under Article 6(1)(1)(b) GDPR for the operation of contractual relations with you.

We use cookies on our website. These are small files that your browser automatically creates and that are stored on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our site. Cookies do no damage to your device, and do not contain viruses, trojans or other malware.

  • to revoke your consent provided to us at any time pursuant to Article 7(3) GDPR. As a result, we would no longer be allowed to continue the processing of data based on this consent, and
  • under Article 77 GDPR, to complain to a supervisory authority. As a rule, you can contact the supervisory authority of your usual place of residence or workplace or of our headquarters.

6. Right to object

If your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to Article 6(1)(1)(f) GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data pursuant to Article 21 GDPR if there are reasons which arise from your particular situation, or if the objection is directed against direct advertisement.
